. <br /> EXHIBI7 A- SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE <br /> REDWOOD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT FIRING RANGE REMODEL <br /> DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Consultant shall provide set of plans and specifications <br /> suitable for bidding for improvements to the Police DepartmeM Facilffy Gun Range <br /> to add additional shooting booths and lanes, and to modify the gun range to <br /> accommodate the shooting of rffles. The consuRant shall design the project so that <br /> the construction cost does not exceed $95,000. <br /> DESIGN: <br /> TASK I. - DESIGN/PROGRAMMING <br /> 1. Field Survey and Meet with staff. <br /> 2. Schematic Design Development <br /> Deliverable: <br /> The Consultant shall prepare and submit the Schematic Design for modifications to <br /> the existing firing range within 30 calendar days after issuance of the notice of <br /> proceed. Five (5) copies of the schematic design and cost estimates are required. <br /> TASK II. - CONSTRUCTION DOCUMEMAflON <br /> 1. 65%Submittal: <br /> 2. Staff Review (30 days) <br /> 3. 100k Final Submittal: <br /> Deliverable: <br /> a. The Consultant shall prepare and submit the 65� design which shall include <br /> plans, outline specifications and cost estimate to Redwood City within 30 days <br /> affer receiving comments from the schematic design phase and issuance of <br /> City approval to proceed to 65% design. Fve (5) copies of the 65% design <br /> plans, specificatioru outline, and cost estimates are required. <br /> b. The Consultant shall prepare and submit the final bid set, signed and stamped, <br /> which includes the final plans, specifications and cost estimate to Redwood <br /> City within 21 days after receiving comments from the 65� design. Submit one <br /> (1) copy and one (1) CD. <br /> TASK III - BID AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT <br /> Consultant shall provide the following services: <br /> Deliverables: <br /> a. The consultant shall review and respond as necessary to contractor <br /> submittals and shop drawings. <br /> b. The consultant shall provide responses to RFIS as necessary. <br /> c.
