� • ,� TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION (RCPOA) 10.2.2 City Contributfon: For each active, full�ime employee enrolled in a City-provided medical plan, the City will provide, on a morrthy basis, a Cafeteria Plan Allowance equal to the cost of premium for the employee's seleded plan and level of coverage, up to the cost of the Kaiser 8ay Area/SacrameMo Region three (3) party premium per month per employee minus any cbsts incurred by the Ciry to maintain said Cafeteria Plan in compliance with IRS Code Section 125, and minus any costs incurred by the City to maintain the Group HeaRh Benefits Plans in compliance with GovemmeM code Sedion 22750, et, seq. Such coats include, but are not limited to, surcharges and/or adminisVative fees Effective January 1, 2012, if an employee elects no heaMh coverage and shows evidence of other coverage, $100 per month will be credited to the empioyee's flexible spending accourKs. 10.2.3 For permanent part-time employees working (20) or more hours per week covered by the MOU this amount shall be prorated. 10.5 Life Insurance Effective September 1, 2011, the City shall provide employees Basic Life Insurence coverege of $50,000, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (ADD) coverage of $50,000. 14.1 Retirement Plan Retirement benefits for employees shall be those established CaIPERS for Local Safety Members Two Percent (2%) at qge Fifty (50) Fortnula. Effective the first full pay period that includes July 1, 2004, retirement benefits for employees hired before the date of the City's amendment of iis conVact with CaIPERS shall be those established by CaIPERS for Local Safety Members Three Percent (3%) at Age Fifty (50) Fortnula. Retirement benefits for employees hired on or after the date of the City's amendment of its contract with CaIPERS will be those established by June 9 2011 6
