46�3414_12 Temporary Upgrede <br /> An-em�leyeeCOA unit member temporarily assigned by the su�ewiseF-Fire Chief to work in a higher paid <br /> classifcation shall receive a temporary upgrade to the lowest point of the range in the higher classification, <br /> or an increase of five oercent (5%). whichever is areater. <br /> Fate-ef �ay. If a temoorarv uoarade lasts for <br /> greater than twelve (121 consecutive months, the emplovee shall be entitled to a meritorious achievement <br /> adiustment in the ranae for the hiaher classification usina quidelines ouBined in Article 14.3. <br /> 0 <br /> a&7514_74 Educational E�cpense Reimbursement <br /> �:414.14.1 A4aaaQemen�COA unit employees shall be eligible for reimbursement of costs of tuition, <br /> � registration fees, books, calculators, and other related items and supplies that are incurred in <br /> connection with enrollment in and successful completion of an education development program <br /> or course: <br /> 4Sa&,�14.14.02 Effective October t, 1991, an employee shail be eligible to receive reimbursement not to <br /> exceed six hundred and fifry dollars ($650.00) per fiscal year, are approved in advance of <br /> enrollment by the Human Resources Director and the Fire Chief, <br /> and the employee successfulty completes such course submitted for reimbursement with a grade <br /> of "C" .or better. The Educational Expense Reimbursement Program may be used for <br /> professional development workshops or seminars. <br /> �574.74.03 The Human Resources Director may establish standards and criteria and enact such <br /> rules, regulations, procedures and policies as are necessary or appropriate to implement the <br /> provisions of this Section �14_14. <br /> �14_15 Training � <br /> The Human Resources Director is responsible for developing training programs in order to improve the <br /> efficiency and broaden the knowledge of employees in the performance of their duGes. Successful <br /> completion of special training may be considered in making advancements and promotions. The <br /> Association may appoint a member to meet with the Human Resources Director to plan, evaluate and <br /> recommend training programs. <br /> �5814.16 Licenses and Certificates <br /> Employees who are required by State or Federal agencies, or by job description, to be licensed or <br /> certificated shall be reimbursed for the fees for such license or certificate, including other DMV licenses <br /> above Class "C" required by the DepaRment of Motor Vehicles. <br /> 16 ' <br />
