EXHIBIT A <br /> � Scope of Work , <br /> Contractor shall furnish and install LED light strings on 144 trees (non-palms) <br /> and 23 palms (167 total) in the downtown area. <br /> Trees and palms to be lighted are located as follow: <br /> On Main Street, between Broadway and Middlefield <br /> On Broadway, between Walnut and Marshall <br /> On Broadway, between RR tracks and EI Camino Real <br /> City will verify power availability for each tree/palm location prior to installation. <br /> Contractor shall: . <br /> 1. Remove all existing incandescent and LED mini-lights from all trees and <br /> palms to be lighted. <br /> 2. Furnish and install 6 to 8 light strings on each tree and palm. <br /> a. Each light string shall be at least 17' in length. <br /> b. Lights shall be 5mm conical wide-angle LED Warm White mini-lights <br /> w/16-gauge injection molded bulbs and commercial grade IP <br /> connections. <br /> c. Lights on trees (non-palms) shall begin at directly above arms reach (6' <br /> to 8') and continue into the trees branching structure (4' to 5'). All but <br /> three (3) trees have power (extension cord) at the base. Contractor <br /> shall replicate existing installation for those three trees without power <br /> at the base. <br /> d. Lights on palms shall begin at grade and wrap to just below the nut of <br /> the palm. Criss-crossing of light strands on palm trees is not <br /> acceptable. All palms have existing junction boxes with duplex <br /> receptacles. <br /> e. All existing cords and new light strands shall be secured in such a <br /> manner so as to keep the lights continuously in place under <br /> normaUstatic operating conditions <br /> The amount to be paid Contractor does not include the following for which the <br /> City will be responsible: <br /> • Permits and inspection <br /> .
