� EXHIBIT A— SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE A detailed scope of work and required tasks are provided below: TASK 1 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT WRECO shall maintain the fiscal health of the project, manage and supervise the design team, maintain the project schedule and conduct quality control of all calculations, studies, investigations, analyses and plans. PROJECT MEETINGS AND COORDINATION WRECO shall conduct the following meetings at a minimum, which are critical to the success of this project: • Project Kickoff & Field Review Meeting: WRECO shall hold a project kickoff meeting combined with a field review of the site location. This meeting will be attended by members of the design team and the City. This meeting will set the parameters of the project and include the discussion of any design issues. . Design Concept Meeting: WRECO shall present to the City the conceptual plan for the project, highlighting the design concept and key features. . Review Meetings with the City: One (1) City-scheduled meeting shall be held after the 65% PS&E submittal to discuss and clarify any City comments. . Design Team Meetings: Intemal meetings with the design team as needed to discuss and coordinate any design issues. Deliverables: Exhibits and Meeting Minute TASK 2 — BASE MAPPING . WRECO shall compile mapping on base plans, using system mapping and as- built information. • Request and obtain utility system mapping from local utility companies. Compile mapping on base plans, using system mapping, as-built information and visible, as well as surveyed locations of surface utility facilities, as needed. . Conduct extensive field reconnaissance to assess the existing site conditions. TASK 3 PRELIMINARY DESIGN WRECO shall pertorm the following tasks prior to the start of design: • Verify hydraulic calculations and revisit the previous studies prepared for the City. Assess options of adding sheet piles to the south side of Bayfront Canal and the removal of the tide gates. • Prepare preliminary construction cost estimates to verify adequacy of budget. Pertorm value engineering to provide the City with the optimum solution for the Project. . Perform topographic survey of existing drainage systems needed and cross- sections of Atherton Channel • Coordinate and Prepare Geotechnical Memorandum • Review and analyze the available geotechnical information . Establish soil parameters for the design of the sheet pile wall • Design of the sheet pile wall • Establish contractibility issues and recommend methods of construction nmrncwzo».�o�nn�co �o �o�o» -
