Informal bids may be hand-delivered, delivered via mail, or faxed to <br /> (650) 780-7309, before the Bid Deadline. <br /> The work will generally consist of the foilowing: I <br /> � <br /> ➢ Furnishing all labor, material, equipment, tools, and services required to perform spot <br /> repairs, and appiy one layer of tie-coat and one layer of finish coat for existing welded <br /> steel tanks used for potable water storage, including but not limited to, disposal of all <br /> wastes from surface preparatfon and any other wastes generated during the work, <br /> ' methods and requirements for materials, surtace preparation, material application, <br /> inspection and testing, and handling and disposal of debris. <br /> ➢ Dust alleviation and control, site cleanup, and other items as necessary to complete <br /> the work. <br /> A Bid Bond is not required for this project. I <br /> A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond are required for this Contract. <br /> i <br /> A California Class C-33 specialty contractor's license is required to bid this Contract. Joint <br /> ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. A Performance Bond <br /> and a Labor and Material Payment Bond are required for this contract. <br /> Your company shall do all work involved to a satisfactory and workmanlike manner including <br /> cleanup, furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and appurtenances thereto. Contractor i <br /> shall satisfy City requirements with regard to general liability and automobile liability insurance. ; <br /> � <br /> Payment will be made on the basis of work complete, in-place per the scope of work, and as � <br /> determined by the Engineer. <br /> I <br /> The winning bidder will be required to enter into an agreement promptly, as shown on the <br /> enclosed form.
