. ° REG.ek 1/13/66-7 <br /> . :-.�,` . ;� � . <br /> . ��,�� <br /> RES OLUT I ON NO. �896 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO THE SELECT <br /> SYSTEM OE STREETS AND AIGHWAYS OF THE CITY OF' <br /> REDin700D CITY, AND REQUESTING THAT SUCH MODIFICATIONS <br /> BE APPROVED BY STATE AIGHWAY COMMISSION <br /> Y�f�REAS, Chapter 1852 of the Statutes of 1963 provides <br /> for the establishment of a select system of streets and high- <br /> ways in each city and county for the purpose of expending funds <br /> derived from the Highway'Users Tax Fund, State Highway Fund and <br /> other sources; and <br /> wI�REAS, Section 186.3 of the Streets and�Highways Code, <br /> as adopted by said Chapter 1852, provides for the submission of <br /> modifications to the select system streets to the California <br /> Highway Commission for review and approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for re- <br /> view mod'ifications prepared by the.City Engineer to the select <br /> system of streets and highways of the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDY,700D CITY, <br /> AS FOLL0�4S: <br /> 1. That certain map, entitled "MAP pE' SELECT SYSTEM OF <br /> CITY STREETS AND HIGFIWAYS, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA," <br /> and that certain report, entitled "SELECT SYSTEM REPORT - <br /> SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, CITY OF REDYIOOD <br /> CITY, CALIFORNIA," copies of which are on file in the offices <br /> of the City Clerk and City Engineer, approved by the California <br /> Highway Commission and this Council, be modified to include <br /> the following streets: <br /> MAIN STREET -- from Veterans Boulevard to the <br /> Woodside Expressway off-ramp near <br /> Pine Street. <br /> Select System Classification A-2 <br /> , VETERANS BOULEVARD--from Main Street to the Woodside <br /> Expressway. <br /> � Select Syatem Classification A-1 <br />
