� ' , • ' . , • WHK:yc:l2/29/65-7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O: � <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF TRUCK <br /> Wf�REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4859, adopted December 6, <br /> 1965, the City Clerk called £or bids for the furnishinq of one <br /> new fire truck, to wit, one truck, one-ton cab and chassis, latest <br /> model, eight cylinder truck, to be used for municipal purposes; <br /> and <br /> WF�REAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager Por the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WF�:REAS, FERRIS MILES, INC., Redwood City, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said bid to said Ferris Miles, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TE� CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Ferris Miles, Inc., in the total net delivered <br /> price to the City of Redwood City of Three Thousand Two Hundred <br /> Thirty-six Dollars ($3,236.00),_ for the furnishing of one new <br /> fire truck, to wit, one truck, one-ton cab and chassis, latest <br /> model, eight cylinder truck, in accordance with specifications <br /> therefor approved by Resolution No. 4859, is hereby accepted, and <br /> said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for said item. <br /> 2.
