� REG:yc:l2/16/65-7 <br /> _ . .� <br /> R <br /> i; <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. � <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THS COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> FOR COUNTY PARTICIPATION IN CONNECTION WITH JEFFERSON <br /> AVENUE UNIT NO. 5 STREST IMPROVEMENTS <br /> , WI�REAS, the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development <br /> Act enacted by the Legislature at its 1963 regular session provides <br /> for the allocation of funds received under that Act by the County <br /> for street projects within cities; and <br /> Wf�REAS, certain major street projects within the City are <br /> of area-wide interest and benefit the County of San Mateo as a <br /> whole; and <br /> WI�REAS, the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo <br /> wish to provide by agreement for participation in the improvement <br /> of Jefferson Avenue Unit No. 5 by the County of San Mateo; <br /> NOW, THEF2EFOR8; <br /> Bfi IT RBSOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: � <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement between the County <br /> of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City for the Jefferson Avenue <br /> Project," copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk <br /> and by this reference incorporated herein as if set out in full <br /> herein, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Manager are <br /> hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * :" *. * <br /> ���D <br />
