� �: WHK:yc:12/6/65-7 <br /> J . . � � <br /> , <br /> .� � � <br /> n • . <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. �,� <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LINDEN <br /> STREET AND MADRONE STREET STORM DRAINAGE IMPRO�EMENTS; <br /> 12EJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS.RECEIVED; AND AUTHORI2ING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> WF�REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4829, adopted November 15, <br /> 1965, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> Linden 6treet and Madrone 3treet Storm Drainage Improvements in <br /> the City of Redwood City; and <br /> Wi� REAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager; and <br /> WF�REAS, FAIRLEY CONSTRUCTORS, Belmont, California, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said bid to Fairley Constructors, and <br /> i <br /> reject all other bids received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOiWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Fairley Constructors, Belmont, California, <br /> in the amount of Fourteen Thousand Four Aundred Seventy-seven <br /> and 50/100 Dollars ($14,477.50), more or less, for the construction <br /> of Linden Street and Madrone Street Storm Drainage Improvements, <br /> according to the plans and specifications hereto£ore approved by <br /> Resolution No. 4829, at the price quoted in its proposal dated <br /> November 29., 1965, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared to be the lowest responsib le bidder. <br /> 2'. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br /> mentioned in paraqraph 1, hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> . �85z <br />
