ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br /> FOR 709 WOODSIDE ROAD <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~:~--~ day of <br /> <br /> ~',.c~--.~ , 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and FEHR & PEERS <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. ("Consultant") of San Jose, California; and <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed reconstruction and extension <br />of an existing McDonalds' restaurant located at 709 Woodside Road in the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, City has determined that the <br />traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and documentation shall <br />be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with Consultant subject to funding <br />therefore by McDonalds Corporation (the "Developer"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and <br />costs to be incurred pursuant to said agreement; and <br /> <br />Agmt-461 1 <br />f/sh/sh/RC/Council <br />FXS:djk <br />05/09/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
