irrigation demands and the storage facility is situated so the high water level is set at an
HGL corresponding to the maximum allowable head developed by the City's DPS.
• Alternative 2.A: This alternative uses the following assumptions:
a. New recycled water facilities are sized to serve MCC irrigation demands and
other potential City and non-City customers located adjacent to the proposed
pipeline alignment. Facilities are sized such that customers can be served from
the DPS or by gravity from the new storage facility.
b. Above-grade storage facility with a volume of 3 MG is located on MCC property
(conceptual-level location to be determined as part of this evaluation).
c. Storage facility is situated so that the high water level .is set at an HGL
corresponding to the maximum allowable head developed by the City's DPS.
. Altemative 2.B: This altemative uses the following assumptions
a. New recycled water facilities are sized to serve MCC irrigation demands and
other potential City and non-City customers located adjacent to the proposed
pipeline alignment. Facilities are sized such that customers can be served from
the DPS or by gravity from the new storage facility.
b. Below-grade storage facility with a volume of 3 MG is located on MCC property.
c. Storage facility is situated so that the high water level is set at an HGL
corresponding to the maximum allowable head developed by the City's DPS.
. Altemative 2.C: This altemative uses the following assumptions:
a. New recycled water facilities are sized to serve MCC irrigation demands and
other potential City and non-City customers located adjacent to the proposed
pipeline alignment. Facifities are sized such that customers can be served from
the DPS or by gravity from the new storage facility.
b. Above-grade storage facility with a volume of 3 MG is located on MCC property,
c. Storage facility is situated so that the high water level is set at an elevation higher
than the DPS shutoff head. .
d. A booster pump station would be required for this scenario. The evaluation will
include a hydraulic evaluation of pumping requirements (i.e., head and flow) in
order to develop conceptual-level capital costs for the pump station, but will not
include a booster pump siting evaluation.
The conceptuai-level site plan and cost estimate will take into consideration approximate onsite
and offsite pipeline sizes and lengths, booster pumping requirements, irrigation pumping
requirements, and storage configuration. An evaluation of operations and maintenance costs is
not included in this task.
ATTY/AGR/2011.137/KENNEDY JENKS DESIGN GOLF COURSE
REV:12113171
