EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> PCRC will be responsible for: <br /> • Provide primary administrative supervision of the Community Engagement Specialist (CES), <br /> who will in turn provide staff support to the Redwood City Together Initiative of Redwood <br /> City 2020 <br /> • Provide content specific training and overall professional development opportunities, <br /> • Provide facilitation, coordination, training, and project management for objectives outlined in <br /> the scope of work/work-plan for the Community Engagement Specialist, <br /> • Participate in Silicon Valley Community Foundation cohort learning community, <br /> • Provide leadership in the development of any progress reports and grant proposals to <br /> funders <br /> • Connect Community Engagement (CE) activities other PCRC programming and other <br /> county and state initiatives, <br /> • Help the CES to develop knowledge of and compliance with agency policies, procedures <br /> and protocols and ensure the CES receives and understands appropriate benefits and <br /> salaries, <br /> • Co-develop work-plan with Executive Director of Redwood City 2020 (RWC2020), and San <br /> Mateo County Sheriff's Office C.A.R.O.N. Program (CARON), <br /> • Represent positive collaboration at relevant county and city events, <br /> • Integrate community engagement services across PCRC system and programs, <br /> • Advocate for community-based work at various city and county policy bodies and among <br /> current and future grant-makers, <br /> • Lead professional evaluation of Community Engagement Specialist, with input from <br /> partners, <br /> • Coordinate hiring of staff and make final staffing decisions in partnership with the <br /> collaborating Executive Directors, <br /> • Provide program evaluation and budget data as needed to fulfill grant and evaluation <br /> requirements, <br /> • Communicate effectively with partner agencies and leads as the partnership evolves. <br /> METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> Allocate funds from SVCF grant to fund the position in the amount of $16,364 to be paid in two <br /> installments, one at the time this agreement is signed and the second payment by April 1, 2012. <br /> PCRC will invoice Redwood City 2020/City of Redwood City to receive these payments. <br /> REPORTING <br /> PCRC and RWC 2020 will meet in regularly scheduled supervision meetings with the <br /> Community Engagement Specialist to monitor implementation of the work plan. <br /> PCRC will provide written documentation of the work of the Community Engagement Specialist <br /> at the time the final invoice is submitted. <br /> Agreement over $10K 10 <br /> City Attomey Approved Version 012611 <br />
