� � , . <br /> MINUTE ORDER <br /> N0: ?� RD86-208 <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: October 30, 1986 <br /> Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Finance Director <br /> Correnunity Development Director <br /> SUBJECT: Concept approval to retain financial advisor for Civic Center for <br /> land acquis.ition financing proqram (1402-04) <br /> Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City on October 27, 1986 <br /> Present: Directors Britschgi, Bury, Chandler, Greenalch, LaBerge, Stangel and <br /> Chairman Claire <br /> Absent: None <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> M/S: Chandler/Stangel that a Financial Advisor be retained to assist in <br /> developing a financing plan for the purpose.of: 1) expanding the Police <br /> Facility; 2) acquiring the land and the construction of parking <br /> facility; 3) acquiring the parcels on Main Street that are necessary to <br /> implement Phase I of the City Centre Plan; and to authorize negotiations <br /> for the acquisition of the parcels. <br /> In response to question, Senior P]anner Patterson said that Mr. Finer <br /> has an architectural permit now, but that previously staff was not <br /> willing to approve anything for the�property, since it is in a <br /> redevelopment area, as Mr. Finer was advised Mr. Patterson said that � <br /> approval was given later when changes occurred which made it possible to <br /> approve the proposed development of_the property. <br /> , City Attorney Schricker said that any specific advice would be <br /> premature, but Mr. Finer is on notice that his property is in the <br /> Redevelopment Area. <br /> AMENDMENT: Vice Mayor Chandler, with the consent of his second, amended <br /> the motion to exclude reference to the Main/Middlefield Island (Item <br /> 3.d., Page 2 of the report of 10/22/86) <br /> The motion as amended carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> JAC NE C.
