' <br /> a) Present 49ers facility to revert to the City for joint use of <br /> the Police Youth Club and the City of Redwood City. <br /> b) Police Youth Club to be provided with an interim use building <br /> while,the 49ers build their new facility. <br /> c) That adequate Little League playing fields to replace Kiwanis <br /> and Mitchell be provided without fail, by the City. <br /> • d) Parking for the 49ers should be provided around their new <br /> facility and in the area of Bechet Fieltl. This would alleviate <br /> the parking congestion at the Veterans's Building. <br /> . Additional Recomnendations <br /> 1) The Comnittee appointed two sub-comnittees to immediately look at <br /> alternative sites of larger size. <br /> a) Sub-Comnittee to look at sites totally within Redwood City <br /> (including Redwood Shores) <br /> b) Sub-Comnittee to investigate Canada College site. <br /> Recortenendations due September 16, 1986. <br /> 2) Strongly recommend that the City Council direct the Parks and <br /> Recreation Director and Parks and Recreation Cortunission to <br /> immediately recorrmend alternative Little League sites.) <br /> CLARIFICATION: Councilman Britschgi, in agreement with his second, said <br /> that it is the intent of his motion to accept the report as a conceptual <br /> design for agreement. <br /> AMENDMENT TO MOTION: Councilman Britschgi, with the consent of his <br /> � second, amended the rtrotion to continue the exploration for 30 days. <br /> The motion with clarification and amendment carried on the following <br /> ' roll call vote: � <br /> Ayes: Councilmen Britschgi, Bury, Chandler, Greenalch and Mayor <br /> Claire <br /> Noes: Councilwoman LaBerge <br /> Abstained r Councilman Stangel <br /> � ���� ����j <br /> JACQUEL C.
