Director <br /> Housing Officer <br /> SUBJECT: Recomnendation re transitional housinq facility (3�2-10) <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwnod City on September 16, 1985 <br /> Present: Councilmen Claire, Mosher, Rhodes, Stangel and Mayor Britschgi <br /> Absent: Councilmen Bury and Chandler <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> M/S: . Rhodes/Claire to accept the recomnendations of the Housing and <br /> Human Concerns Cortrtnittee, with the addition of the category of elderly <br /> persons to be included in the list of those eligible to be served by the <br /> facility, and the requirement that Redtwod City residents be given first . <br /> priority. <br /> (The recomnendations of the Housing and Human Concerns Committee are as <br /> follows: � <br /> 1) Council endorsement of the philosophy statement and general <br /> operating procedures for the proposed Transitional Housing <br /> Fac i l i ty ; <br /> 2) Development of a detailed Request for Proposals (RFP) to potential <br /> operators, based upon the philosophy statement and the approved � <br /> operating procedures already prepared. . <br />
