� � <br /> MINUTE ORDER <br /> N0: 8 5-19 <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: February 14, 1985 <br /> Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney � <br /> Finance Director <br /> Director of Public Works <br /> Police Chief <br /> SUBJECT: Parking Cortmittee Report, February 11 1985 (301-06) <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on February 11, 1985 <br /> Present: Councilmen Chandler, Claire, hb sher, Rhodes, Stangel, <br /> and Ma,yor Britschgi ' ' <br /> Absent: Councilman Bury <br /> The following rtrotion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> M/S: Chandler/Mosher to accept the recommendations of the Parking Committee <br /> with documents to be prepared as needed and placed on the Consent Calendar at <br /> a later date as follows: <br /> 1. Parking should be free on Saturdays in all lots and adjacent streets to <br /> the downtown corridor except for 18 meters on E1 Camino Real between <br /> Broadway and Brewster. <br /> 2. Free parking should be restricted to two hours. <br /> 3. The City Council should make a policy decision enforcing the two hour <br /> time limit by increasing the chalking and ticket issuing process. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> JAC E C.
