� � <br /> MINUTE ORDER <br /> N0:_ 84-161 <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: October 11, 1984 <br /> Attention: Mayor Britschgi <br /> Councilman Rhodes � <br /> City Manager , <br /> City Attorney . <br /> SUBJECT: Location of proposed County Jail <br /> N�eting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on October 1, 1984 <br /> Present: Councilmen Bury, Chandler, Claire, Rhodes, Stangel, and <br /> Mayor Britschgi <br /> Absent: Vice Mayor Nbsher <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> M/S: Rhodes/Claire that with regard to the construction of a new jail, that <br /> the City is opposed to removing land from the tax rolls in downtown Redwood <br /> City unless there are compensating factors such as improvement of the parking <br /> situation; and that the Council would like to be involved in.the discussions <br /> on the subject before .it is resolved. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> Mayor Britschgi appointed himself and Councilman Rhodes to a committee to <br /> discuss the matter with representatives of the Board of Supervisors. , <br /> , � � ������ �' <br /> JACQUELINE C.
