SUBJECT: Senior Affairs Cormnission re Recormnendation 3(302-14) <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on December 10, 1984 <br /> Present: Councilmen Bury, Chandler, Claire, Mosher, Rhodes, and <br /> Mayor Britschgi <br /> Absent: Councilman Stangel <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> M/S:. Bury/Chandler to accept the Senior Affairs Cortanission recommedation 3, <br /> as follows: <br /> 3. In order to move positively toward the goal of service consolidation it <br /> is further recommended that, wherever possible, the City Council assist <br /> TEWCI and its Council of Elders in: <br /> a. securing funding for the purchase of property located near Fair Oaks <br /> Senior Center for parking purposes and; <br /> b. securing funding for a part-time staff person to unify the senior <br /> community and enhance programming at the Fair Oaks Senibr Center. <br /> Carried on the following roll call vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmen Bury,_Chandler, Claire and Vice Mayor Nb sher <br /> • Noes: Councilman Rhodes and Mayor Britschgi <br /> JACQUEL E C.
