_. -- _ � � <br /> MINUTE ORDER <br /> N0: 84-127-RD <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: July 13, 1984 <br /> Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Housing Coordinator <br /> SUBJECT: Centre Area Redevelopment (1401-03) <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on July 9, 1984 <br /> Present: Directors Bury, Chandler, Claire, Mosher, Stangel, and <br /> Chairman Britschgi <br /> Absent: Director Rhodes <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> i <br /> M/S: Claire/Mosher to accept the recormnendation of the City Manager <br /> contained in his report of Ju1y 3, 1984, and direct staff to prepare a <br /> Request for Qualifications with regard to Centre Redevelopment Area. <br /> Gus Pappas, 587 Seahorse Lane, noted that the matter of redevelopment <br /> should be recognized as complex and development of a plan should proceed <br /> using modern evaluation methods. Mr. Pappas suggested a committee of <br /> local engineers might work with consultants the plan. <br /> Nita Spangler, 970 Edgewood Road, suggested that Council consider recent <br /> social and technological changes in the City and recommended that <br /> residents be asked about the kind of development they prefer and that <br /> sociologists and economists would be involved also. <br /> �; <br /> �. <br /> % <br /> , ,, , <br />
