• q� <br /> M I N U T E O R D E R <br /> � N0: 84-1�41� <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: September 7, 1984 � <br /> Attention: City Manager � <br /> City Attorney <br /> Planning Director � <br /> SUBJECT: Negotiation with Campeau Corporation/Marine World <br /> , Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on August 27, 1984 <br /> Present: Councilmen Bury, Chandler, hb sher, Rhodes, Stangel, and <br /> Mayor Britschgi <br /> Absent: Councilman Claire <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> M/S: Nbsher/Stangel that the City Council attempt to negotiate with the <br /> Campeau Corporation to Marine World to remain open on its present site <br /> for one more year. <br /> In response to question, City Attorney Schricker said that the motion would <br /> not cause the Council to be compromised with regard to applications Campeau <br /> is expected to file.for permits, since the motion is a policy statement <br /> regarding an item of public interest to the community. Mr. Schricker noted <br /> that a planned development permit can be issued by the Planning Commision in <br /> any case, so that nothing in the motion suggests prejudging of the matter. � <br /> The motion carried on the following roll call vote: . <br /> Ayes: Councilmen Bury, Claire, Fbsher, Rhodes, Stangel and Mayor Britschgi <br /> Noes: Councilman Chandler <br /> JACQ IN C.
