As a result of the <br /> coding change, data for 2009 is not comparable to that of prior years. A summary of historical <br /> taxable sales within the City during the past five years in which data is available is shown in <br /> the following table. Total taxable sales during calendar year 2009 in the City were reported to <br /> be $1,387,335,000, a 13.3% decrease over the total taxable sales of $1,600,517,000 reported <br /> during calendar year 2008.
