Mayor Ira announced that the Bayfront Park information report has been moved to <br /> another meeting. <br /> 5. SPECIAL ORDER(S) OF THE DAY <br /> A. Mayor's Beautification Recognition Ceremony - Jeff Ira, Mayor <br /> Mayor Ira introduced former Mayor Diane Howard who provided a brief introduction of <br /> the 23� Mayor's Recognition awards which was first founded by former Mayor Georgi <br /> La Berge. She recognized the donation of Recology towards the reception that was <br /> held in the foyer prior to the meeting. She then recognized all the Pride and <br /> Beautification Committee members as well as the staff (presentation on file). Mayor Ira <br /> was invited to hand out awards to all the recipients. The final award went to the family <br /> business Fontana & Company for its work related to improving and beautifying the <br /> Union Cemetery.
