Ms. Brown shared a presentation (on file) and thanked the two Council Members <br /> (Pierce and Seybert) who serve on this board. She also recognized Dr. Bell, City <br /> Manager, who regularly attends the cabinet meetings. Ms. Brown explained the <br /> benefits of this 20-year partnership and acknowledged some of the partners like staff <br /> from the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department. She then elaborated <br /> on the outcomes for this organization and the cumulative impacts. Furthermore, she <br /> spoke about their core partners and shared how they have collectively i determine the <br /> success of Redwood City 2020's efforts. Ms. Brown noted that Redwood City is unique <br /> because of its strong collaborations and its forward focus on building a positive future <br /> for the community. <br /> Council Members thanked Ms. Brown and Redwood City 2020 for thepresentation and <br /> the work that has been accomplished. Council commented that this work is a real <br /> benefit to the community and to the institutions involved. One Council Member would <br /> like to see more data and the tracking of students to get the information that will help <br /> facilitate more and greater partnerships with the business community. <br /> 6.
