RESOLUTION NO. DL.-..O 2. A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION of THE CITY of REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING TING PI OG AM; MAKING FINDINGS CONCERNING SIGNIFICANT ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS; AND ADOPTING A STATEMENT of OVERRIDING IDING CONSIDEI ATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL JAL ITY ACT FOR THE STANFORD D OUTPATIENT CENTER PROJECT FOR WHICH A SUP'PLE-I IENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT HAS BEEN PREPARED. WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City "City" prepared a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Report ort "Final SEII " for the Stanford Outpatient Center Project "Project's); and WHEREAS, the Final SEIR examines whether the changes in use and the tenant improvements included in the Project will cause new or substantially more severe environmental impacts than those identified in the Final EIF (December, 1996) and Final Supplemental EIl (December, 1998) prepared for the Midpoint Technology Park, within which the Project would be located in four currently vacant buildings,, and also examines w hether new mitigation measures or alternatives have become feasible since the Midpoint Fibs were certified and would substantially reduce the environmental impacts of the project; and WHEREAS, on September 19, 2006, after a duly noticed public hearing and an independent review of the Final SEI , the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood rood city certified by recorded vote that the Final SEIR was completed In accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act "CE .A" and state and local guidelines and reflected the independent judgment of the City; and WHEREAS, CE QA requires that, In connection with the approval of a project for which an Ells has been prepared which identifies one or more significant environmental effects, the decision-making agency make certain findings regarding the significant environmental effects. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ED THE PLANNING COMMISSION of THE CITY of REDWOOD CITY, As FOLLOWS: General Findin Planning Commission hereby finds and of rrns that the .,, Final SEIR has been completed in compliance with CE A; that the Planning Commission has reviewed and analyzed the Final SEIR and other information in the record and has considered the information contained therein, including the wriften and oral comments received at public hearings on the SEIR and the Project prior to acting upon or approving the Project; and that the Final SEIR represents the independent judgment: of the City of Redwood City.
