••[c A local agency shall not acquire real property for any of <br />the purposes specified in paragraph (a) nor dispose of <br />any real property, nor construct or authorize public <br />building or :structure, in any county or city, if such <br />county or city has adopted a general plan or part thereof, <br />until the location, purpose and extent of such acquisition, <br />disposition, or such pudic building or structure have <br />been submitted to and reported upon by the Manning <br />agency having jurisdiction, as to conformity with said <br />adopted general plan or part thereof <br />WHEREAS, the above required reports and recommendations, <br />including matters referred to in section 33346 of the Health and safety Code <br />and Section 65402 of the Government Code, are to be made to the <br />Redevelopment Agency and the City Council for their consideration in <br />acting on the adoption of the Fourth amendment to the Redevelopment Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commi <br />ssion has considered the proposed <br />Fourth Amendment and the General Ilan of the City and other pertinent <br />.reports and documents. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE PLANNING G COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS EoLLo S: <br />. s. ctio . 1 . Findings. The Plannin g Commission hereby finds and <br />determines that: <br />(a) Pursuant to Section 33346 of the Community Redevelopment <br />Law, the proposed Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2 (attached .hereto as Attachment No. 1) <br />conforms to the General Plan of the City of Redwood City. <br />(b) Pursuant to :Section 65402 of the Government Code, with <br />.respect to public activities which may be undertaken within the area added <br />by the Fourth Amendment and the original Project Area pursuant to the <br />_2, <br />PC Report & Recommendation <br />AK /DES: 8/28/97 <br />
