6.3.A. - Page 18 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPT <br /> ORDINANCES AMENDING ARTICLE 42 RELATING TO USE PERMITS, <br /> ARTICLE 48 RELATING TO APPEALS, ARTICLE 49 RELATING TO <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS AND VARIOUS PROVISIONS <br /> RELATING TO APPEALS, ALL OF THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING <br /> ORDINANCE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Zoning Ordinance is in need of being updated and brought <br /> into consistency with state law; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing and received <br /> public comments on the proposed amendments; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed amendments are exempt from the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act in that it is not a project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed amendments are in the best interest of the City. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The above recitals constitute the findings of the Planning <br /> Commission in this matter. <br /> Section 2. The Planning commission hereby recommends that the City <br /> Council adopt all four proposed ordinances attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> Section 3.
