Power rodder to be hydraulically driven through PTO. <br /> Performance: <br /> Pulling Capacity: Nominal 7,000 lb. <br /> Rod Speed: Nominal 120 FPM low / 200 FPM high <br /> Rod Diameter: . 3 93" <br /> Rod Capacity: 2000' <br /> Hydraulic System: <br /> The rodding machine shall be 100% direct hydraulic drive with no chains or other <br /> mechanical power transmission devices drive, head gear assemblies excepted. The hydraulic <br /> power transmission system shall include and conform to all of the following: <br /> a. System to be open center <br /> b. Pump: Fixed displacement two section — 24 GPM and 12 GPM at 1800 RPM. <br /> c. Return line filter: 100 mesh with replaceable element. Mesh strainer/breather at <br /> tank inlet. Two (2) ball valves, one on inlet and one on outlet of filter to allow <br /> replacement of the filter without the loss of hydraulic fluid. <br /> d. Reservoir: To incorporate 4" x 6" rectangular tubing in frame for maximum heat <br /> dispersion. Minimum total reservoir capacity to be 28 gallons. Fluid level indicator <br /> in plain view of operator. Manual shut valves to be in supply line. <br /> e. Hydraulic Hoses: Pressure hoses to be SAE 100R1, SAE 100R2, SAE 100R9, wire <br /> braided pressure hose with permanently attached steel couplings. Suction hose to be <br /> SAE 100R4 suction hose with permanently attached steel couplings. <br /> f. Hydraulic Fittings: All joint industry conference (JIC) thread are SAE 37 degree <br /> flare type. All straight thread O-ring fittings are to be SAE tolerance (class 2A/2B <br /> standards). All pipe threads are NPTF/NPTM national pipe thread tolerances. <br /> g. Hydraulic fluid: 32 heavy-duty anti-wear hydraulic fluid or equal. <br /> h. A over speed disconnect for PTO shall be installed. So that there will be no <br /> movement of the chassis allowed while the PTO is engaged. <br /> 1 <br />
