PC 96 -3 <br />• Exceeds normal standard for tree cover in p areas. <br />• Uses building placement and tree screens to mitigate undesirable wind <br />conditions for pedestrian at ground level. <br />Findin 4 : Pursuant to Government Code section 66474.6, the City has <br />determined that the discharge of waste from the proposed subdivision into an existing <br />communi ty sewer s ystem will not result in violation of existing requirements prescribed <br />y m. <br />by a California regional water quality control board pursuant to Division 7 (commencing <br />with Section 1.3000) of the water Code.. The South Bayside System Authority will <br />provide wastewater treatment capacity. It isnot currently in violation of any regional <br />water quality requirements, and has sufficient capacity .to provide wastewater treatment <br />for the Project" without violating regional water quality requirements. (See the recent <br />stud y p 3� com leted :b Brian Kangas Foulk entitled "Study to Determine Future Redw <br />Shores Properties' Sever Treatment Capacity Requirements,' dated N 22, 1995 <br />which is on fi le with the City Planning Department and is hereby incorporated by <br />reference.) <br />Findin 5 : Although the Project Environmental Impact Report CEIR") <br />( consisting of the EIR for the General Plan Revision for Redwood Peninsula and the <br />Addendum prepared for the Pro* ect) determined that the Pro* ect will have sign* cant <br />environmental effects, the City adopted findings that specific economic, social, or other <br />considerations justified the City's decision to approve the Project.
