Existing utilities <br /> that run under this location of right of way will be preserved in their current state and will <br /> be accessible by the Public Works Department as necessary. <br /> As a result of this proposed project in City right-of-way, the City will apply for a Green <br /> Streets grant, currently available through the State's Proposition 84 program. These <br /> funds are available for projects that propose to treat stormwater runoff from the <br /> roadways through natural biofiltration methods. <br /> $75,000 has been approved by the City Council under the 2010/2011 Capital <br /> Improvement Project budget to renovate the existing park.
