applicable laws as set forth in Redwood City's standard public works contract Document 700 <br /> General Conditions, Part VI. <br /> 6. San Carlos agrees to reimburse Redwood City the total cost incurred by <br /> Redwood City for all work perFormed within the corporate limits of San Carlos, including any <br /> contract Change Orders. However, any grant funds received shall be used to pay for project <br /> costs proportionately between Redwood City and San Carlos and San Carlos shall not be <br /> required to reimburse Redwood City for construction costs paid for with grant funds. San Carlos <br /> shall also reimburse Redwood City for project management costs in the amount of ten percent <br /> (10%) of the construction contract and Change Order costs for work performed within the <br /> corporate limits of San Carlos. <br /> 7. The estimated cost for work performed within the corporate limits of San Carlos <br /> is $32,000.00. The estimated fiscal obligation for work performed within the corporate limits of <br /> San Carlos is $4,000.00, which represents costs above and beyond those expected to be <br /> reimbursed by the grant funds. However, both cities understand and agree that these estimates <br /> are not final as the total amounts will be unknown until the contract is awarded. Any contract <br /> Change Orders on San Carlos' portion of the construction work will be subject to the written <br /> approval by San Carlos. It is understood that the total sum to be reimbursed to Redwood City <br /> by San Carlos shall be determined from the actual costs incurred by Redwood City to install <br /> bike improvements on said San Carlos portions of Shoreway Road and Skyway Road in <br /> conjunction with Redwood City's bike improvements project and project management costs <br /> pursuant to paragraph 6 on the one hand and the actual amount of grant funds received by <br /> Redwood City for the project work on the other. <br /> 8. Redwood City shall furnish primary construction inspection services for all <br /> phases of the project work. The City Manager of Redwood City or his appointed representative <br /> shall be solely responsible for all phases of construction and inspection functions and liaison <br /> with the Project Contractor.
