EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AND <br /> SCHEDULE OF SERVICES <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Consultant shall design an upgraded street lighting system and provide plans, technical specifications, <br /> and a cost estimate for improved street lighting on East Bayshore Road between Douglas Court and <br /> south City limit (near Haven Avenue). Improvements include upgrading existing street lights, adding new <br /> street lights, and an electrical service enclosure. Consultant will provide construction support as needed <br /> and "as-builY' drawings upon project completion. <br /> TASK 1 — PROJECT SET-UP <br /> 1. Inventory and map existing roadway lighting system within projed area. <br /> 2. Assist in evaluation and selection of luminaire type. <br /> 3. Coordinate PG&E permit. <br /> Deliverable: Complete preliminary review, inventory, and mapping two (2) weeks from the "Notice to <br /> Proceed" (NTP). <br /> TASK 2 — 65% SUBMITTAL <br /> 1. Design new street lighting system to appropriate lighting levels and city standards. <br /> 2. Develop photometric analysis/drawings. <br /> Deliverable: Submit 65% Plans, Technical Speciflcations, and Cost Estimate (PS&E) six (6) weeks <br /> from NTP, excluding time for city review. <br /> TASK 3 —100% SUBMITTAL <br /> 1. Complete design and finalize PS&E based on review and comments from City and PG&E. <br /> Deliverable: Submit 100% PSBE ten (10) weeks from NTP, excluding time for city review. <br /> TASK 4— BID DOCUMENTS <br /> 1. Complete any back-check comments prior to bidding. <br /> 2. Complete final set of PS&E. <br /> Deliverable: Submit one (1) set of signed plans and technical specifications suitable for contract <br /> bidding twelve (12) weeks from NTP, excluding time for City and PG&E review. <br /> TASK 5 — CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT <br /> 1. Assist in addressing RFIs (requests for information) from contractor. <br /> 2. Prepare addendum during construction (if necessary). <br /> 3.
