AL0216 <br /> BUDGET NARRATIVE Page 1 <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COSTS <br /> Overtime is provided for Redwood City officers participating in the DUI checkpoints, roving patrols, and <br /> strike teams. The budgeted overtime salary rate is $66.57. Benefits are budgeted at 13.02% as detailed <br /> below. <br /> <br /> Unemployment 0.100% 0.07 <br /> Medicare 1 ~45% 0.97 <br /> <br /> Total $1.14= 1.71% <br />TRAVEL EXPENSE <br /> $4,000100 has been budgeted for a detail of officers to attend the OTS Sumrait and the PTS Seminar in FY1. <br /> $1,000.00 has been budgeted for one officer to attend the PTS Seminar in FY2. <br />CONTRACTUAL SERVICES <br /> The PIO subcontractor will fulfill the PlO objectives of the grant and will be procured through the City of <br /> Redwood City procurement guidelines. The hours and details will be submitted prior to subcontract <br /> execution. <br /> <br /> Contract hours for the Avoid the 23 included in the $25,000.00 fee for each grant year are - 333 hours at <br /> $75/hr. <br /> <br />NON-EXPENDABLE PROPERTY <br /> None <br /> <br />OTHER DIRECT COSTS <br /> Office Supplies - Includes office supplies.such as pens, peneits, paper, paper, paper clips, etc., needed for <br /> program operations <br /> <br /> Printing - Printing of posters and reports. <br /> <br /> Uniform Medals - Medals will be awarded for high-achieving officers.
