EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> PROJECT SUMMARY <br /> Job Description <br /> Sequoia Teen Resource Center Director <br /> The Director will guide, support, and manage, the growth and development of the Sequoia Teen <br /> Resource Center (STRC). The Director will report to the principal of Sequoia High School. The <br /> Director will have 4 primary areas of work 1.) Provide Leadership to the Center's Operations, 2.) <br /> Coordinate and integrate student support services with the school's academic and <br /> extracurricular programs, 3.) Expand collaborative partners and raise additional resources to <br /> support the ongoing success of the Center, and 4) Assist with the design and implementation of <br /> outcome evaluation efforts to track the impact of the STRC. <br /> • Provide leadership and oversee aspects of the operations of the Sequoia Teen Resource <br /> Center <br /> • Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of community school-based <br /> mental health, social and youth development services that enhance the health and safety of <br /> children and families and improve educational outcomes of students <br /> • Monitor the STRC budget and provide fiscal management <br /> • Oversee, supervise, and manage staff, volunteers and interns <br /> • Develop and foster supportive governance structure that includes public and community <br /> based organizations, school staff and youth and convene regular meeting of inembership <br /> • Manage program communications in response to changing needs <br /> • Research and act on funding opportunities, including grant writing, report writing, and donor <br /> development <br /> • Regularly report on the status of implementation of STRC to Redwood City 2020 <br /> • Lead and support outcome evaluation and reporting processes <br /> • Ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans developed by STRC collaborating <br /> partners <br /> RWC 2020's ROLE <br /> • Work closely with STRC to develop and sustain programs to support students in reaching <br /> their academic and social-emotional potential <br /> • Assist with resource development <br /> • Assist with design and implementation of an evaluation model to track the impact of STRC <br /> programs <br /> Judy Romero's Salary (with Benefits) is $99,360 <br /> Sequoia High School is contributing $42,000 for Fiscal Year 2011-2012 <br /> $99,360 - $42,000 = TOTAL $57,360 <br /> RWC 2020 will provide $57,360 for Fiscal year 2011-2012 <br /> AgreemeM over $10K 10 <br /> City Attorney Approved Version 012611 <br />
