Susan Moeller, Redevelopment M n r, provided details on the actions before Council. <br />She provided a full description of the events rogr m' for the Summer Series (p resentation <br />on file). Council posed questions about the downtown garage and the water issues. Mr. <br />Chang explained that the current Council action is to perform a feasibility study to <br />understand hoer less water can b pumped out and hoer the water might be used. Some <br />Council Members were agreeable to the concept of reusing the water. <br />Council Member r Fierce announced that the museum is looking at the whole block. An <br />urban design person was suggested to look at this. Council discussion ensued and <br />Council directed staff to include the County and the San Mateo History Museum in the <br />area of urban design discussion. Council also requested that the Downtown <br />Subcommiftee be kept apprised. Council also suggested that the City check with other <br />organizations to make sure all stakeholders are included. <br />X /S Ira /Hartnett two approve the resolution making the findings. <br />City Attorney Yamamoto stated that the resolution should be amended to include looking <br />a water tables and other uses of the water. He explained that the goal is to look at the <br />downtown ern garage foundation, an its safety by studying the water table a nd possible <br />alternate uses, The maker and the second of the motion agreed that this would be part of <br />the resolution.
