Adopt a Resolution approving the Preserve at Redwood Shores Precise Plan <br />and recommended changes (the "Precise Plan), adopting and Incorporating <br />the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program into the Precise Plan, and <br />making the required CEQA findings. <br />RESOLUTION Nor 14838 OF THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY of REDWOOD CITY <br />ADOPTING THE PRESERVE AT REDWOOD SHORES PRECISE PLAN WITH <br />RECOMMENDED CHANGES (THE "PRECISE PLAN"); ADOPTING AND <br />INCORPORATING THE MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM INTO <br />THE PRECISE PLAN; AND MAKING THE REQUIRED CEQA FINDINGS. <br />MS Aguirre /Bain to approve the resolution. <br />Oboe Mayor Howard thanked the Planning commission and Mr. Passanisi for all their <br />work with the community. Vice Mayor Howard appreciated the comments about <br />affordable housing and the need for a balanced approach. She thanked Cllr. (copies of League of California cities Priority Focus <br />available in city clerk's Department). <br />B. council Reports on Committee Meetings Attended. <br />1. council Member Bain attended a Traffic Committee meeting with council <br />Member Hartnett and they discussed guidelines and goals for that body. <br />2. council Member Ira reported on the capital Improvement Program from South <br />ayside System Authority (S BSA) and hoer staff is working with the consultant <br />on incorporating a rate structure to be reviewed by the Utilities Rate Committee. <br />I vice Mayor ror Ho card reported on the Peninsula Traffic congestion Relief <br />Alliance approving a commuter shuttle program. She spoke about the work the <br />taskforce has been doing and hoer it will be proposing to Council a community <br />shuttle that is on call and runs at all times. This will be a pilot program and the <br />goal is to cone back to the city council in March, for approval. <br />Vice Mayor H oward also spoke about the Housing Endowment ent and Regional <br />Trust and the goal of such organization. She thanked Deputy clerk Wong for <br />having a presentation available on this topic (presentation on file).
