Adopt a Resolution approving the Preserve at Redwood Shores Precise Plan and recommended changes (the "Precise Plan), adopting and Incorporating the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program into the Precise Plan, and making the required CEQA findings. RESOLUTION Nor 14838 OF THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY of REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE PRESERVE AT REDWOOD SHORES PRECISE PLAN WITH RECOMMENDED CHANGES (THE "PRECISE PLAN"); ADOPTING AND INCORPORATING THE MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM INTO THE PRECISE PLAN; AND MAKING THE REQUIRED CEQA FINDINGS. Vice Mayor Howard appreciated the comments about affordable housing and the need for a balanced approach. She thanked Cllr. Keech for his vision. B. council Reports on Committee Meetings Attended. 1. council Member Bain attended a Traffic Committee meeting with council Member Hartnett and they discussed guidelines and goals for that body. 2. council Member Ira reported on the capital Improvement Program from South ayside System Authority (S BSA) and hoer staff is working with the consultant on incorporating a rate structure to be reviewed by the Utilities Rate Committee. I vice Mayor ror Ho card reported on the Peninsula Traffic congestion Relief Alliance approving a commuter shuttle program. She spoke about the work the taskforce has been doing and hoer it will be proposing to Council a community shuttle that is on call and runs at all times. This will be a pilot program and the goal is to cone back to the city council in March, for approval. Vice Mayor H oward also spoke about the Housing Endowment ent and Regional Trust and the goal of such organization. She thanked Deputy clerk Wong for having a presentation available on this topic (presentation on file).
