For each bid package to be separately bid (assumed 3) Consultant shall prepare up to one contract addendum, one (1) hard copy for changes to specifications and one (1) copy of drawings with modifications clearly identifying changes. Consultant shall be available to assist Redwood City staff with evaluation of the Contractor's bid proposals. It is contemplated that project 1 will be bid in 2012; project 2 in 2013; and project 3 in 2014. Task 6 Services During Construction (Optional) Consultant shall assist Redwood City in performing the following engineering services requested during the construction phase. For each work package, Consultant will perform the following. The level of ConsultanYs effort for each bid package will depend on how the construction work progresses, and may include: • Attend and participate in the pre-construction meeting for the work designed in the scope of work of this Task Order. • Review Contractor shop drawing submittals. This scope shall include review of original submittals, and review of re-submittals. • Respond to request for information of the Contract Documents. • Issue Drawing Clarifications, as requested by Redwood City, to clarify the intent of the designs. . Visit the project site as requested by Redwood City, to provide assistance to Redwood City's inspectors and respond to questions in the field. For package 3, it is assumed that Consultant will provide the special inspection to confirm the installations meet the intent of the design. • Review and make recommendations on change order proposals. . For each package, prepare D size (24x36) record drawings for Redwood City files. Modify Consultant-originated drawing files to reflect actual construction conditions, based on available information. Drawings shall be prepared based on mark-ups of drawings maintained by the Contractor and/or Redwood City's inspectors during construction. With the exception of equipment anchorage (package 3 as listed above), ConsultanYs scope does not include inspection of construction. Deliverables: . For each bid package, record drawings, one (1) full size, 24" x 36" plots and tracings including electronic files for all drawings. . Log of all field changes handled by the Consultant, including Requests for Information, Contact Document Clarification, and other field correspondence.
