An Ordinance Amending Miscellaneous Provisions of the <br />Redwood City Code Relating to Appeals <br />Recommendation: <br />Hold Public Hearing on Portion of Ordinance adopting San Mateo <br />Environmental Health Code by reference <br />Waive Second Reading and adopt an Ordinance Adding a New Article III to <br />Chapter 1 relating to appeals <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2373 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE III TO CHAPTER 1 OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />CODE RELATING TO APPEALS (First reading December 12, 2011, publication <br />of summary December 21, 2011) <br />Waive Second Reading and adopt an Ordinance Amending Miscellaneous <br />Provisions of the Redwood City Code Relating to Appeals <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2374 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING <br />VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING <br />TO APPEALS AND DELETING VARIOUS INOPERATIVE PERMIT <br />REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE NO LONGER APPLICABLE (First reading <br />December 12, 2011; publication of summary December 21, 2011) <br />City Attorney Thompson presented the report noting this was in regards to appeals and <br />how this came by recommendation of the Planning Commission. She noted the <br />companion piece on the Consent Calendar. She offered to answer any questions. There <br />were none. <br />M/S Foust/Ira to close Public Hearing. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />M/S Gee /Ira to adopt both ordinances. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />8. STAFF REPORT(S) <br />A. Sale of bonds pursuant to the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of <br />1982, as amended (the Act), to refund the outstanding City of Redwood City <br />Community Facilities District No. 2000 -1 (Pacific Shores Project) Special <br />Tax Bonds, Series 2000A (the "2000 Bonds ") <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve by resolution, authorization for the issuance and sale of Special Tax <br />Refunding Bonds for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City Community <br />Facilities District No. 2000 -1 (Pacific Shores Project) and approval of all <br />documents and agreements, including the Preliminary Official Statement, <br />necessary to issue such bonds. <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD January 9, 2012 <br />MEETING MINUTES PAGE 8 <br />
