6.6.B. - Page 5 <br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />■ <br />The City Manager shall cause parking spaces to be designated and <br />shall cause appropriate signs to be posted, and markings to be <br />made, in all regulated, unmetered off - street parking facilities <br />designated in this Section. <br />Section 5. Chapter 20, Article VII, Division 9, Section 20.186 (Permit or City <br />Identification Required), is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 20.186. PERMIT OR CITY IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED: <br />A. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to <br />occupy or remain in any space in the Police Department <br />Parking Lot for more than one hour, except on Sundays and <br />holidays, when signs are erected giving notice thereof, <br />unless such vehicle displays a valid parking permit or said <br />vehicle bears distinctive markings, or logo, or sign <br />(collectively, "City identification ") identifying said vehicle as <br />City -owned or as an otherwise duly designated City vehicle. <br />B. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to <br />occupy or remain in any space in the Municipal Services <br />Center parking lot for more than one hour, except on <br />Sundays and holidays, when signs are erected giving notice <br />thereof, unless such vehicle displays a valid parking permit <br />or said vehicle bears distinctive markings, or logo, or sign <br />(collectively, "City identification ") identifying said vehicle as <br />City -owned or as an otherwise duly designated City vehicle. <br />Section 6. This Ordinance is Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301, <br />Class 1 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines. Class 1, <br />Existing Facilities, allows minor alterations of existing public facilities. <br />Section 7. The City Clerk shall publish this Ordinance in accordance with <br />applicable law. <br />Section 8.
