6.1.A. - Page 10 <br />B. City Council Members Oral Reports of Conferences /Meetings Attended <br />C. City Manager (Oral) Update <br />City Manager Bell announced that the Redevelopment Agency had been abolished and <br />this will have impacts to General Fund. He reported that this matter will be before <br />Council at the February 6 meeting with the mid -year budget update. Mr. Bell also <br />announced that staff will be doing community meetings around strategic initiatives to <br />elicit community input on the strategic goals and initiative. <br />Council Member Bain said that the annual report was the best he has seen and he <br />really appreciated it. <br />Council Member Pierce thanked the downtown business group for all their dedication to <br />the holiday season. She noted that they made a difference. Mayor Aguirre echoed those <br />sentiments and said they will be before the Council at the second meeting in January so <br />that they are given the recognition they deserve. <br />10. ADJOURNMENT— M.S Ira /Bain to adjourn the meeting at 9:22 p.m. in memory of <br />Colin Dale Brown.
