Geotechnical Assessment - Collect available soils data and perform geotechnical
evaluation to assess underlying soil conditions. Reconnaissance level field
investigation will be conducted - no soil exploration (soil borings, sampling, and
testing) included. Preliminary recommendations for foundations of water control
structures will be made.
3. Land Surveying - SupplemenUvalidate the City's available LiDAR topographic
data with initial field surveys along the open-channel ditch, at the proposed
crossing under Marsh Road, at the locations of proposed inleUoutlet headwall
structures, and along the interior berms within Ponds S5/R5.
4. Jurisdictional Wetlands Delineation to assess the extent of jurisdictional wetlands
within the open-channel ditch that will be impacted by the proposed project and
will have to be mitigated for.
5. Prepare additional water quality and salinity sampling and formulate a sampling
plan/protocol.
6. Summarize the information from the above tasks into the Conceptual Design
Report.
7.
