dq.1 6� I <br />October 27, 2003 <br />Subject <br />Final Acceptance — Twin Dolphin Drive Bridge <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the construction of the Twin Dolphin Drive Bridge, and authorize the release of <br />the bonds following the submission of a Maintenance Bond in the amount of <br />$60,000.00, in accordance with Section 8 of the Construction Agreement. <br />Background <br />On August 6, 2001, the City Council adopted a resolution authorizing execution of a <br />Construction Agreement with Green Valley Corporation (dba Barry Swenson Builder) <br />for the construction of a bridge on Twin Dolphin Drive in the Redwood Shores area, to <br />serve the newly built Towne Place Suites Hotel. <br />_ Green Valley Corporation has completed the construction of the bridge in accordance <br />with the Construction Agreement, plans, specifications, and to the satisfaction of the <br />City's Engineering and Construction Services. <br />Alternative <br />Do not accept the construction of the Twin Dolphin Drive Bridge, which will be contrary <br />to prior Council action. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />There are no fiscal impacts to the City.
