9-A- , 1 5 <br />If you care for children who arrive very early in the morning or leave very late at night, talk <br />to the parents about coming and going quietly, in consideration of neighbors. <br />Permits /Approvals <br />In addition to the State license, the City of Redwood City requires that all large family child care <br />providers (7 to 14 children) obtain a Use Permit to assure that the above issues are addressed. <br />City staff will notify affected parties within 100 ft. of the proposed large family child care home <br />of a pending application and, if requested, will hold a public hearing. <br />Also all large family child care providers must obtain a home inspection by the City's Fire <br />Marshall and must pay a business tax.
