EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> RELOCATION OF REINFORCED <br /> CONCRETE BOX CULVERT (RCBC) <br /> DOWNTOWN REDWOOD CITY <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />All labor, materials, equipment and other effort in relocating the existing reinforced <br />concrete box culvert beneath Block 1 (surrounding Broadway, Jefferson Ave. Winslow <br />Street and Middlefield Road) in Downtown Redwood City. Work shall include <br />constructing new reinforced concrete box culvert (RCBC) as shown on the attached <br />drawing Exhibit B. <br /> <br />Prior to construction, the Developer shall submit to the City for approval a Basis of <br />Design Report and design including topographic survey for the RCBC. The Basis of <br />Design report and design shall include but not limited to, the size of the RCBC based on <br />design flows and existing conditions; design grades for the RCBC; type of RCBC <br />proposed; relocation of City's water, sewer, storm and street lights; restoration of all <br />surface improvements; traffic control plan; and coordination with other private utility <br />companies. A licensed surveyor shall complete the survey and the Design shall be <br />prepared and signed by a Registered Civil Engineer both from the State of California. <br />Record Drawings of the completed RCBC and other improvements shall be submitted <br />within 30 calendar days after acceptance of the project. <br /> <br />Guaranteed Maximum Price: The guaranteed maximum price for constructing the <br />culvert including all design, permits and fees is Three Million Six Hundred Thousand <br />and Six Hundred Dollars ($3,600,600). <br /> <br />Schedule: The construction of the culvert shall start on or about April 1, 2003 and be <br />completed by December 15, 2003 unless extended mutually by both parties. <br /> <br />F:Atty/Agr/Ag r. 100 <br />021903 1 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
