About the City Council <br />➢ General Overview <br />1. Government Operations. The City shall uphold the highest standards of <br />professionalism and skill in its operation. The City encourages creativity and <br />innovation, and will provide forward- thinking programs for the long -term benefit of <br />the community. Efforts to further this initiative include the use of specialized <br />consultants, the evaluation of utility rates, and the development of climate <br />protection measures. <br />2. Community Building and Communications. The City will engage community <br />members as partners with the City in its decision making processes. This will <br />further assist with building a strong community in Redwood City.
