B. - Page 3 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br />TO ESTABLISH THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR <br />WHEREAS, the existing Public Works Services department has been <br />reorganized to be included as a division within the Community Development <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the position of Assistant Public <br />Works Director be established to oversee the Public Works Maintenance division of the <br />Community Development Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications of Assistant Public Works Director <br />were prepared by the Human Resources Department and the City Manager to ensure <br />the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the Economic Development Manager <br />classification will be an executive management position and established with a pay <br />range of $11,464 to $13,609 per month; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2.
