ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> San Mateo County Community College District/Canada College <br /> Technical Assistance and Training for Small Business Enterprises <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this'/'-day of <br />(~('~ , 2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and San <br />Mateo County Community College District/Canada College, a political subdivision <br />of the State of Califomia ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides technical assistance and training for <br />small micro business enterprises; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), <br />which is incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of <br />City dudng the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that <br />providing the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, <br />desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of One Hundred Three Thousand, <br />Seventy Nine and no/100 Dollars ($103,079). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br />of One Hundred Three Thousand, Seventy Nine and no/100 Dollars ($103,079) <br />for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, <br />and ending June 30, 2004, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />9/11/03 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
