- ORIGINAL- <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing <br /> <br /> Fair Housing Services <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I-day of~ <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair <br />Housing, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the <br />"Parties"). <br />WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides fair housing services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), <br />which is incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of <br />City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's reqbest; finds that <br />providing the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, <br />desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirty Five Thousand and no/100 <br />Dollars ($35,000). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br />of Thirty Five Thousand and no/'100 Dollars ($35,000) for exclusive use by <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, <br />2004, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />9/11/03 I <br /> <br /> <br />
