TIE /3 <br />ATTACHMENT 2 <br />REVOCABLE PERMIT AGREEMENT <br />(Landscaped Open Space Ar :na ansi Parking Lot located at Maple and Lathrop <br />Streets, Adjacent to kedwood Creek/Towne Ford) <br />This Permit Agreement ( "Permit "), effective as of , 2003, is <br />made by and between the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency ( "Agency "), and <br />Towne Ford ("Permittee"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. Agency is the owner of that certain real property consisting of a <br />triangular- shaped parcel located between Maple and Lathrop Streets, adjacent to <br />Redwood Creek Culvert and more specifically identified on the attached Exhibit "A" <br />which is incorporated herein by reference (the "Property"). <br />B. Agency currently does not use the Property for any particular purpose. <br />C. Permittee is the operator of a car dealership located in a building <br />immediately adjacent to the Property. <br />D. Permittee is desirous of using and maintaining the Property as an <br />employee parking lot, for its and Hopkin's Acura employees, during the hours of 7:00 <br />a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. <br />E. The Property is of adequate shape and size to allow Permittee to use the <br />Property as an employee parking lot. <br />F. Agency is willing to allow the Permittee to use the Property as an <br />employee parking lot. <br />G. Permittee understands that Agency has entered into an agreement with <br />Irvine Apartment Communities ( "Irvine ") for Irvine to maintain the Property landscaping <br />and irrigation, install landscaping, irrigation and other improvements on the Property <br />and to allow it to be used as community open space Monday through Saturday <br />evenings after 6:00 p.m. when not being used by Towne Ford and all day Sunday. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Scope of Permit. The Agency hereby grants a non - exclusive permit to <br />Permittee to enter upon and use the Property as an employee parking lot, for its and <br />Hopkin's Acura employees, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through <br />Saturday. Any vehicle parked overnight or between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., <br />Atty/Permits /Permit.007 <br />102203 <br />
