EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> For the Price stated in the Agreement the Consultant will: <br /> <br />· Develop assessment centers with a sedes of oral/ practical and written exercises, <br /> which measure knowledge, skills, and ability, required for effective Captain and <br /> Battalion Chief job performance. At a minimum, four or five exercises will be <br /> developed for each test, including an emergency situation, a structured oral <br /> exercise, one or two role play exercises, and one or two written exercises. Exercise <br /> content and rating guidelines will be unique to the Redwood City Fire Department. <br /> The department subject matter experts will review all exercise material and rating <br /> guidelines. <br /> <br />· Conduct oral and/or written orientation sessions with the assessment center <br /> candidates before the exams. <br /> <br />· Conduct in depth rater training sessions. Detailed rating guidelines with explicit <br /> behavioral anchors will be developed to ensure accurate, reliable evaluations. Will <br /> be responsible for recruiting all raters for the assessment centers. <br /> <br />· Be responsible for administering the assessment centers. Responsible for all <br /> exercise and candidate scheduling. <br /> <br />· Score the assessment centers. Rank order lists of candidate performance will be <br /> produced along with average candidate's KSA scores. Train raters to produce job- <br /> related notes dudng the testing process. <br /> <br />· Develop written feedback about assessment center performance that can be <br /> provided to all candidates. The material will be a synopsis of rater notes taken during <br /> the assessment centers. <br /> <br />· Defend the exams against any challenge and develop a summary report of the <br /> testing process. <br /> <br />Agreement over $10K 10 <br />City Attorney Approved Version 0g0103 <br /> <br /> <br />
